Cookie policy
This site uses one cookie, and its only job is to remember the choice you made about cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising and nothing loaded from anyone else.
The cookie we use
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
mofetty_consent |
Records the choice you made in the banner. Its value is either
accepted or rejected, and nothing else.
It exists so that we honour your decision and stop asking on every
page and every visit.
|
180 days | First party |
It is set by mofetty.com itself, it holds a single word, and it travels nowhere. It cannot identify you, it does not follow you to other sites, and no one else can read it. It is the only thing this website stores on your device: no other cookies, no local storage, no session storage.
If you reject, we store that too. That may sound contradictory, so here is the reasoning: if we stored nothing, we would have to ask you again on every single visit, and pestering someone who already said no is itself a bad practice. So a refusal is recorded exactly like an acceptance, with the same single-word cookie and the same 180 days, and it does nothing except keep the banner away from you.

What this site does not do
- No analytics: no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no heatmaps, no session recording.
- No advertising and no remarketing tags.
- No third-party embeds: no video players, no maps, no social widgets, no chat box.
- No external fonts. The typefaces are served from mofetty.com itself, so opening a page does not send your IP address to Google or to any other provider.
- No fingerprinting, no local storage and no session storage. The cookie above is the whole of it.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file that a website asks your browser to store, so that it can recognise your device on a later visit. Cookies are what make it possible to track people across pages and across sites. Ours does none of that: it only records that you pressed Accept.
Server logs are not cookies
Our hosting provider keeps standard technical server logs, as any web server does. Nothing is stored on your device by them. What they contain and how long they are kept is explained in our privacy policy.
Controlling cookies yourself
Besides the button above, every major browser lets you review and delete the cookies stored on your device, and block them by site. You will find it under Settings, in the Privacy or Security section. Blocking ours costs you nothing: the site works exactly the same, it will simply ask again.
If this ever changes
If we later add anything that sets another cookie, such as analytics or an embedded video, we will update this page first and ask for your consent before that cookie is set, except where it is strictly necessary for the site to work.
